3. The Dream-Catcher Project

  • Walking on a dream.

  • Location: Red Mountain Pass, Silverton, Colorado

  • 1111m long rigged on all Y2K webbing. (Supplied by Drew, Lisa, Hayley, and Caleb)

  • Anchors were at 12,500ft above sea level.

  • About 250m off the deck in the middle.

  • Standing tension was all over the place cause of wind. Low of 4kn and high of 9kn.

  • Anchors were built with fence T posts. Rigging design by Jeramiah Morgan.

  • Sent by Kaio Apolinario (1 hour 40 mins) and Kieran Blood (42 mins).

  • Caleb with the first crossing, 3 falls in 52 minutes.

  • Max Ross crossed in 1h 45min. struggle bus many falls but pushed through for cross.

  • Kevin Bankson fell just over 900m into the walk. About 6 falls afterwards.

  • Hayley Purdom crossed in about an hour with 4 falls.

  • Sean Englund crossed with 4 falls in 56 minutes.

  • Kristen Gershkoff (the crab walk queen) did her Crabby style with first fall ~850m; 7 falls total; not sure of time... some dancing, lots of love, and a pretty dope view.

  • Eli Rogers stood in exposure and danced to psytrance every 100 meters or so. (Crossed)

  • Drew, Took 2 hrs in the wind. Got halfway before his first whip. Couldn’t have made it the whole way without dancing and singing and screaming “show me what you’ve got wind!”

  • Nick Naed crossed in about 2 hours.

  • Eli Ellis crossed in about 1.5 hrs with many a fall.

  • Jerimiah Morgan crossed with 1 fall

  • Adam Zawodniak crossed in 1 hour 5 minutes.

  • Chris Downing crossed in his dirty checkered vans in 1 hour and 10 minutes
